Matt Roberts, the
UK's leading personal trainer and health expert has opened his
flagship training centre in the heart of Mayfair. Prominently
located at 16 Berkeley Street, W1, the latest Matt Roberts gym
is the greatest yet and represents an entirely new level in
personal fitness, health facilities and services.
The unique 6000sqft spaces features a 3500sqft personal training
gymnasium, a soundproofed studio for one to one and group Yoga
and Pilates sessions, two Physiotherapy suites and luxurious,
yet contemporary changing rooms.
The interior of the centre was designed by Matt personally and
uses a rare Nordic Ash floor throughout the gym with white limestone
in the bathrooms. Contemporary art is a major feature at Matt
Roberts at 16 Berkeley Street. Matt commissioned one of
the UK's leading photographers, John Davis to produce 2 striking
8ft x 8ft images that adorn the gym walls. An amazing Claire
Reiss painting is also positioned prominently in the lobby.
The art was selected because of its striking impact and relevance
to the work that takes place within Matt Roberts Personal
Training.
As with all of Matt Roberts centres, Matt Roberts
at 16 Berkeley Street offers the very best personal training
in the world. With more than 100,000 hours of collective training
experience, the Matt Roberts Personal Training team utilise
cutting edge equipment with creative and effective training
techniques to achieve superior fitness and well-being.
A 25 metre sprint lane, extensive free weights, Technogym strength
training equipment, specialist aerobic machines including an
upper body ergo and a permanent 'gait analysis*' system are
just a few of the features that make this centre truly unique.
Every client is analysed using thorough fitness tests which
include a sub-maximal heart capacity analysis and body composition
test. All clients also spend 30 minutes with one of the highly
trained physiotherapists who look for signs of imbalance or
pre-existing physical concerns. This results in a bespoke training
programme that is specially designed to improve fitness levels
whilst preventing unnecessary strains or injuries. The physiotherapy
team are highly experienced and can work with minor strains
and aches to more chronic rehabilitation.
